Dr. Om Patel is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement of the hip and knee. He received his fellowship training at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where he learned the most advanced techniques in modern hip and knee reconstruction from world-renowned experts.

Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include both non-operative and operative treatment of lower extremity joint pain, ranging from traumatic injuries to degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis. He is a strong believer in the power of non-operative measures such as injections and therapy.

Dr. Patel has offices in Frisco, TX, and Coppell, TX, where he provides his expertise to patients in need. Following his residency, he pursued his fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement, Joint Preservation, and Adult Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Patel also holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering with Honors and a minor in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty (JOA).
